Inclement Weather Policy/Disaster Plan
Statement
to Members
The Decatur Family YMCA will decide on class changes, cancellations
and facility cancellations based on the safety of members and staff.
Program offerings may be limited by inclement weather or disasters.
YMCA classes may be changed or cancelled if Millikin University or
Richland College cancels. Please
listen to local media for announcements! When classes
are cancelled other services may remain operational: Nursery, Y –
Lobby.
The
Greater Decatur Y Facility will operate if at all possible.
Members should contact the YMCA 872-9622 if in doubt.
Cancellation
Policy
If your registration has not prevented us from serving
someone else and the Y has not incurred any direct expense due to
your registration, you will receive a credit.
Class
Make-Up Policy
The
Greater Decatur Y strives to maintain the quality of instruction and
class consistency. The Greater Decatur Y reserves the right to reschedule,
add or cancel classes based on member needs and participation. Absences
due to illness or injury reported prior to class time may be made
up in another class as recommended by your teacher. We do not issue
credit for days missed.
