Can
we please get jump ropes in the wellness center?
Our
Response:
w Jump
ropes are located in the Wellness Center office. Ask one of
the "Fitness Coaches" to borrow one.
w Please
use the jump rope in the gym because of the limited space and
number of people in the Wellness Center.
w Sorry
that you had to ask. It's one of the things the staff knows and
we assume so does everyone else.

Horve - did a great job in spinning. She plays great music and makes
her workout flow and keeps the students motivated - she rocks!

w Thanks for taking
the time to let us know about your spin experience with Tina
Horve!
w We
think Tina rocks too! (as do our other instructors & coaches.)

Several
of us who were in Frankie's kickbox class want kickboxing back! There
is no kickboxing class after 5:00 PM.
I
went to step on Monday & as a beginner it was very over whelming
& I'm athletic.
The
schedule said Step but it was more like Step Plus. Shouldn't the
first class of a new session have some beginner stuff or explain
the moves better?? The class was a great workout but half the time
I had no idea what I was doing. Please bring back kickboxing.
Our
Response:
w Thanx
for your thoughts.
w Our
experience is, that during the warm weather, class attendance
drops; in order to provide the most benefit to the most members
AND be good stewards of your membership dollars, we adjust the
schedule to reflect the participation.
w We
continually evaluate our schedules to insure they suit the needs
of most of our Members and, at the same time, maximize health
and fitness benefits.

Emily C. and...
Aerobics
new schedule: I like classes that start between 4;30 and 5:00 (PM)
and involve aerobic exercise for 45 (or 60 would be great) minutes
- either kick boxing, step, dance, whatever. I can come right after
work and be home by 5:30! Strength training :(- I
can do this in the fitness center.
P. S. All the aerobics teachers are great - Gail, Cathy, Shelley
& Susie! Thanks!

For
summer I do not want 2 strength training on Mon. & Wed. at 4:30. Mix
it up with step & weights.
The
Dance class on Thurs. at 5:45 is a bad time - could it be at 4:30
or 5:00?
Our
Response:
w During
the summer, attendance does not warrant two cardio classes each night.
In order to ensure that we give the members all the exercise disciplines
they need, and make sure that we are using our rooms to capacity, we
restructure the schedule for summer.
w There
are still cardio classes that begin at 4:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Tuesdays will be TurboKick, Thursdays will be a rotating class.
Each month there will be a different style of class offered that
is new and unique.
w If
you want a cardio Class that begins close to 4:30PM, you can take
Spin. This class begins at 5:00PM on Mondays and at 4:30PM on Wednesdays.
