Karate
Karate
is a class for all ages, sizes and genders. Student benefits include
developing self defense techniques, improvement in physical fitness,
mental awareness and spiritual enlightenment. This program fosters
concepts of peace, love and acceptance. Goju-Rym Karate Do translates
in English to "Hard Soft Style Empty Hand Way. It is a traditional
art founded by one of the greatest karate masters, Chojun Miyagi.
Miyagi was called "the last great Samurai warrior of Okinawa" because
of his legendary strength, skill and intense dedication to martial
arts. Sensei Steve Barnett had 30 years of training in martial arts
and his wide array of knowledge includes many arts, such as Karate
to Kabudo (weapons). We welcome you to take advantage of this great,
historical opportunity. For more information
