The Decatur Family YMCA Child Development Center offers a safe, affordable and fun day of early childhood education for ages 2-5 years old. Our center is open from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Our Child Development Center is characterized by warmth, personal respect, positive support, and responsiveness. We are here to build a solid foundation for each child as they begin their educational journey.
With so many demands on today’s families and the increased focus on early brain development, families need all the support they can get to nurture the potential of youth. That is why child care and early learning programs at the Y focus holistically on nurturing child development by providing a safe and healthy place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships, and build self-reliance through the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
