FREE Stage 1 and Stage 2 Swim Lessons for YMCA Members
Drowning can happen nearly anywhere with standing water. Children need to be equipped with the skills necessary to be confident in and around water.
Decatur Family YMCA is offering free Stage 1 and Stage 2 swim lessons for YMCA members. These lessons are specifically designed to teach children to swim, float swim, tread, and exit the water safely. Each lesson builds skill sequences to enable a child to save themselves or tread/float long enough for help to arrive.

Funds for this Congressionally Directed Spending Initiative is administered through the Department of Education. 100% of this program will be financed with these funds.
