The YDSC Gators Swim Team at Decatur Family YMCA is more than just a team—it's a family. Open to swimmers ages 5–21, the Gators provide a fun, positive, and challenging environment focused on skill development, teamwork, and a love for the sport of swimming.

Whether your child is just diving into competitive swimming or looking to level up their performance, our dual YMCA/USA team offers expert coaching, structured practices, and competition opportunities to help your swimmer reach their full potential!

Who Can Join?

To join, swimmers must be able to complete 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke unassisted. All new swimmers must schedule an assessment before registering.
